who/whom কোনটি হবে? এই ধরনের প্রশ্নে আপনি confused হয়ে যান। বাক্যটির অর্থ : যে মানুষ আমার ব্যাকপ্যাক চুরি করেছিল সে গ্রেফতার হয়েছে.। এখানে দুইটা verb আছে : stole এবং has been arrested। দুইটা verb মানে দুইটা subject হবে। বাক্যটির মূল গঠন হলো :The man has been arrested.
(মানুষটি গ্রেফতার হয়েছে)। কোন মানুষ? যে (who) আমার ব্যাকপ্যাক চুরি করেছিল। এখানে stole এই verb এর subject হবে who, whom না। whom সাবজেক্ট হতে পারে না।

বাক্যটির অর্থ : যে মহিলা আমাকে হাসপাতালে দেখতে এসেছিল সে খুব দয়ালু। এখানে দুইটা verb আছে : visited এবং was। দুইটা verb মানে দুইটা subject হবে। বাক্যটির মূল গঠন হলো :The woman was very kind (মহিলা খুব দয়ালু)। কোন মহিলা ? যে (who) মহিলা আমাকে হাসপাতালে দেখতে এসেছিল। এখানে visited এই verb এর subject হবে who, whom না। whom সাবজেক্ট হতে পারে না।
সঠিক বাক্য হবে :
